Plans and Ideas For The Future
To begin our career in business and food production my team (family) and I will be starting small so to speak. We will begin by selling our produce at markets around the Lower Clarence in order to be able to fund an online website.
Once this website is formed our organic produce can then be shipped around Australia and distant countries.
Tips and Tricks
Anyone new to gardening always benefits from a few tips and tricks to get them started.
* If you live in an apartment soil tends to be messy and hard to deal with so if you dampen a layer of cotton wool in the bottom of a glass airtight jar place your seeds on top then another layer of moist cotton wool, you find that after a week your seeds should have sprouted and be ready to plant.
* Go to cheap stores to buy seeds.
* Research your plants and their soils.
* Know what types of acidity your plants need to produce a crop.
* Start with raised garden beds, hanging pots or regular pots in order to get the hang of things first.

Apartment Gardens
Hanging Pots are a creative and decorative way to start your garden. Herbs, tomatoes, strawberries, chilli's any many more plants grow fantastically in these Hanging Pots.

* You must buy a Hanging Pot that does not drain out everywhere unless outside on the veranda.

When living on a large open property, depending on your crop choices, gardening can be either hard or easy.
I have found that I prefer raised garden beds as they are easier to maintain and the soil can be altered to the way in which you desire.
